Nokia announced on Friday its partnership with Airtel to offer free download of Android applications for a period of six months on its recently launched Nokia XL smartphone.
“To help our consumers experience these apps, we are offering free downloads on Airtel from the Nokia Store and several popular third-party apps stores,” Nokia India Sales Director Marketing Viral Oza, said in a release here today.
The data plan will allow a maximum of 500 MB monthly usage for six months. The apps could be downloaded from 1Mobile Store and Nokia Store. The apps on Nokia XL can be downloaded externally or from Nokia’s own store and other third-party stores.
