As per a recent report, Apple is looking good to introduce the 8GB variant of iPhone 5C in India.

Back in March, the 8Gb variant reached the Apple stores in UK, France, Germany, Australia, and China. Recently, the company launched it in additional countries, including Netherlands, Italy, Belgium, Sweden, Poland, Czech Republic, Ireland, Portugal, Austria, Spain, Denmark, Finland, Switzerland, and Norway.

Apple is now all set to add more countries to the list and India is one of them. iPhone 5C was initially launched in India at a price of Rs. 41,900 for 16GB. The 8GB variant is EUR 50 cheaper than the 16GB one. Hence, we can expect the smartphone to be priced somewhere around Rs. 35,000 in India.

AS it has been observed that iPhone 5C did not receive a good response with its initial price tag, Apple has taken a step to introduce the 8GB variant because we have seen it in the past that the strategy worked good for them in case of iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S.

“iPhone sales grew by strong double-digits year-over-year, and in India and Vietnam sales more than doubled,” Cook had said in an earnings call.

Apple iPhone 5C 8GB will be up for a sale within a couple of weeks.
