Xolo 8X-1000 smartphone officially launched in India today at a price of Rs. 13999. The 8X-1000 runs on Android KitKat 4.4 operating system but it has Hive UI update on top to give a feeling of the the stock interface.
Lava International sub-brand Xolo has developed this in news Hive user interface. The interface is being done by a group of team development in Bangaluru with taking into account the usage pattern of smartphone users in India. This means that the interface provides all the things that are commonly required by users in today’s scenario.
In this sense, Hive UI has a feature called Connect that simply connects online users with the software development team to share ideas and give feedback on their work. The company claims that the best ideas that have been voted by the community are chosen by the development team and will be launched as OTA updates. In addition, this feature helps users to report bugs and find your nearest service centers.
On announcing Xolo 8X-1000 with Hive UI, Vishal Sehgal, Co-founder & Director, LAVA International, said:

Apart from Connect, the Edge feature brings various genres giving the end user the power to design exclusive content such as themes, ringtones and wallpapers. Also, Fusion player X comes preinstalled that combines radio, music player and video tracks . There is a glass protection ASAHI Dragontrail on the front while a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 is available in the rear. In addition, there is support for dual SIM with dual standby connectivity.
