The newly launched Xiaomi MIUI 6 is here and it’s reported to be certainly more Apple-like than the Google Android. The Xiaomi MIUI 6 has quite a lot of Linux kernel and RAM optimization techniques, enabling applications to run more resourcefully. The updated skin also comes with a new version of the mail application which is claimed to support hundreds of types of email account. The new Mail app puts all the emails in a folder that has the same theme. In addition, users can easily view and save attachments directly from the list of attachments. The MIUI has updated lockscreen notifications and supports smart display notifications. Through these two changes, users can easily get notifications for missed calls or new messages right on the lock screen. Finally, there is a global search function that allows users to search quickly from anywhere in the home screen.
Xiaomi has provided up to 28 languages on your skin MIUI to expand its user base and there are 26 sites worldwide fans. Four years after its original release was filed on August 18, 2010, MIUI Skin has successfully provided its functions to 70 million users worldwide.
