When Apple announced OS X 10.10 Yosemite at the WWDC this year, even the non-apple Fan boys were impressed by the features and the design it provided to the users. Although the OS X Yosemite is free to apple users, not everyone can install it because of it being in the BETA storage. So if you are using Maverick and interested in using Yosemite before 99% users, then stick with us.

If you consider yourself miser, running low on cash or you understand the value of money, then you can apply for Apple Open Beta Programme. The programme is open to first million members.
You can register yourself with link below and wait for apple to send you the redemption coupon to download the OS X Yosemite
- From hosting sites uploaded By a third Party(we don’t Endorse this step)
Hosting sites Like IMZDL have OS Yosemite for users to download, not uploaded by apple but bye third party. These sources are unreliable and can be removed anytime.
B) Preparing for installation.
For using Yosemite you need to have 20 GB of space. And for preventing any mishap, we expect you to make a partition especially for installing Yosemite by following the instruction below.
Partition your Hard Drive
Step 1: open Disk Utility, available at this directory “/Applications/Utilities/Disk Utility.app.” Can also be found by searching via Launchpad
Step 2: Once opened, you‘ll see 2 Macintosh HD. Select the first option in the list
Step 3: Click the Partition tab
Step 4: On clicking the ‘+’ icon under the Layout section. It will show a “Macintosh HD 2” partition
Step 5: By using the drag handle, allocate enough space to Macintosh HD 2 partition. Make sure that you put at least 60GB
Step 6: In Partition Information on the right side, you’ll see the Name input box. Rename the Macintosh HD 2, Rename it to something else, like Yosemite Disk
Step 7: Make sure that all settings are default, even the Format, and set them to ” Mac OS Extended (Journaled)”. Click Apply to begin partition process.
Step 8: On creation, another partition named- Yosemite Disk (in our case)—will be listed under the “Macintosh HD logical volume.”
By this point, we expect you followed every step above and are ready to install the OS X Yosemite!
Step 1: Launch the install OS X 10.10 developer preview .app
Step 2: Agree to terms and conditions (only if you agree! We advise you to read them)
Step 3: Choosing the disk partition
