Flipkart, the official retailer of Motorola phones in India announced price cut of Rs. 2,000 on one of their most successful phone MOTO G.
The Price cut of 2000 is valid on the both 16GB & 8GB models but only till the stocks last, this price cut comes just a few days after the record breaking sale of Xiaomi Mi3 on flipkart(again, the only authorized seller). Flipkart was able to sell entire 2nd Batch of Xiaomi mi3 in 5 seconds, although this claim sounds impossible but is true (while the information on number of handsets sold is not released).
Moto G is now available at a price of 10499 and 11999 for 8GB and 16GB models respectively.
Moto G is 4.5 inch smartphone with 720p display and runs android 4.4 (kitkat) with 1.2 GHz snapdragon processor.

Until the launch of Xiaomi, Moto G was the best-selling and most value-for-money handset on flipkart and in India, but Xiaomi but was able to take the crown in just couple of days of entering India.
Whether it’s a move by Motorola or Flipkart to regain the lost crown or to clean up the stocks for the next version of Moto G called G2 is something we’ll see soon.
