Xiaomi, the Leading Chinese Consumer Electronic manufacturer often tagged as the “Chinese Apple” launched their much awaited Mi4. The Phone shares its look with Apple’s iPhone 5 or 5s, and may confuse many people at the first look. The Perimeter of the phone is Made-up of Stainless steel metal frame which passes through “40 processes and 193 steps” giving it a solid look and feel and at the same time making it look even more similar to iPhone
The Mi4 comes with a 5 inch smartphone which boasts a 1080p display with JDI OGS full lamination display. It has a 3GB RAM and a Qualcomm MSM8974AC Snapdragon 801 processor which clocked at 2.5 GHz. It offers a 13 megapixel camera with Dual-Led flash capable of recording 2160p (4K or UHD) videos at 30fps and an 8MP camera at the front, capable of recording 1080p videos, both with Sony’s CMOS sensors. Mi 4 is IP67 Certified making it waterproof for 30 minutes and till the depth of 1 meter, IR blaster which is now finding its place in mobile device is also added to the phone making it capable of working as a remote for TVs and other equipment. The phone is also LTE compliant.
[ads]In Comparison with Mi3 (Last Year’s Flagship), Mi 4 is a bit shorter and narrower , giving it a better grip in hand & less bezels while making it a thicker by .8mm but still at 8.9mm . The phone weighs at 149 g, 4gram more than its predecessor although the difference is negligible. The phone will be shipped with highly modified android 4.4 with MiUI, and will be available in two variant 16GB and 64Gb, priced at CNY 1999 ( Rs. 19500)and CNY 2499( Rs. 24,500) respectively.
