If you are a Moto user in India, this is a happy news for you- Android KitKat 4.4.4 will soon be a part of your Moto E, Moto G or Moto X, whichever the case may be. It was only today that a friend of mine was wondering when we would get the Android 4.4.4 update in India and here it is. Motorola India tweeted that they have started to roll out the update for Moto E, Moto G and Moto X. As any other update, it will be made available to users in lots and you will receive a notification when the Android 4.4.4 is available for download over-the-air. If you do not get any notification within a week from now, go to Settings-> About Phone-> Software Update to manually check for the update. The size of the update would be 50MB-75MB depending on the Moto device you are using.

The update will include security-related improvements along with stability and framework fixes. The dialer and interface have also received some changes. Moto Alert, which was initially available only on Moto E, will now also be introduced in Moto E and Moto G. For Moto G and Moto X, you will now be able to pause and resume video recording. The Nexus devices like exus 4, Nexus 5, Nexus 7, Nexus 7 (2013), and Nexus 10 have already received this latest version of Android. HTC One M7 and M8 are also expected to get the update next month.
