Oppo Mobile is set to up its stake in the Indian smartphone space by introducing its latest flagship device Oppo Find 7 in the coming months. The company has officially stated that Find 7 will be making its Indian bow somewhere around middle of 2014.
The 50MP Camera
This phone sports a 5.5 inch Corning 3 display with 2560×1440 pixels resolution with 534PPI, something that no other company offers right now. The phone comes with another first, 50MP rear camera which is even bigger than the 41MP PureView camera fitted on Nokia Lumia 1020. But there is a catch here. The sensor is actually 13MP so it’s a software trick. It also has a 5MP front snapper and dual-LED flash.
The Find 7 is loaded with Oppo’s latest Image signal processing dubbed Pure2.0, and this enables the 50MP super zoom creation: the camera takes 10 consecutive shots and selects the best 4 to combine into a 50 MP image.
The Oppo 7 comes in 2 versions: the $499 Find 7a and the more premium one at $599. Apart from the specifications and different back covers, the two models otherwise look identical.
