Back in April 1976, Steve Wozniak and Steve Jobs formed Apple Computer with an objective to sell computers in the mass market. Wozniak being a techie and Jobs focussing on design, Apple I was launched in May 1976 which gave them a salary of $250 each. Not long after, Apple II was launched in July 1977 of which 2 million copies were sold. This computer had one mga hertz processor and 4KB of RAM. It was in May 1977 when Apple began to create its brand with the creation of the Apple logo. January 1984 saw the birth of the Macintosh. Nearly 100,000 Macs were sold in a period of 6 months. The first Macintosh laptop was created in September 1989 which weighed nearly 7 kilograms. Correcting this problem, Apple launched Powerbook in October 1991 which weighed just 2.5 kilograms. The revolution came when Steve Kobs announced the entry of iMac in 1998 and then with the release of iPod in 2001. The level of success grew more with the launch of the very first iPhone in 2007. The most recent models consist of the Iphone 5C and 5S. On the Mac side, Mac Pro is all set to make a huge impact on the market.
