Along with the Lumia 930 that was launched at Build 2014, Nokia has launched Lumia 635 that targets mid-range phone users. Does it serve the purpose or has it failed is for you to read and find out. The 630 variant is one of the other phones to come out of the box with the latest windows operating system.  Nokia has shown many a firsts through its Lumia 630. The on-screen navigation keys help in reducing the dimensions of the screen.

No Dedicated Button

To start with, there is no dedicated camera button like how all the other Lumia devices have and 630 variant almost tries to show itself like another phone from the Asha series.

Clearblack enabled display

Clearblack enabled display and the display protecting corning gorilla glass 3 add some venom to wanting the user to consider this phone as an option while buying.

Low RAM but good output

The Snapdragon 400 chipset with 4 cortex A7 cores runs at 1.2 GHz and even though it is only a 512 MB RAM, most of the hands-on review reports suggest that the phone runs smoothly like a charm without any glitches. The 1830 mAh battery should be manageable given the RAM and the processor as the scope for heavy usage is limited in mid-range phones like these.

5MP Camera Value for Money

The 5MP camera is far better than those of others in this price range or specifications. The fact that there is no front camera might be a major disadvantage for people who like to click selfies. The rear camera can record 720p videos at 30fps and there is already an additional burst mode feature. The Live tiles update in real time and pictures can be selected as wallpapers behind the tiles.

Cortana Voice Assistant

The Cortana Voice assistant comes pre installed in the phone and a detailed overview on that will be illustrated in another article.

The phone does answer all the needs that a user opting for a mid-range phone would want. Only time will tell whether this phone does raise eyebrows with a huge market-share due to large sales or it would be a big dud for Nokia.
